SOUTHPORT — Lawson Bigelow hit a home run and went 3-for-3 and Olivia Switzer struck out nine, allowing four hits, as Notre Dame softball beat Waverly 13-1.

Bigelow was 3-for-3 with three RBI, a home run and a run scored and Switzer had two hits, with a double, an RBI and three runs scored. She allowed four hits, struck out nine and allowed one run and one walk in the game.

Shannon Maloney, Izzy Griffin, Mega Agan and Reagan Burge all had two hits for Notre Dame. Maloney had an RBI and a run scored, Again had two RBI and a run scored and Burge had two doubles, three RBI and a run scored.

Maddie Fargo had a double and scored two runs and Ava Mustico had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Payton Miller scored two runs and had an RBI.
