HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: EDISON TOPS UNION SPRINGS TO MOVE TO 3-0 ON SEASON (2023-04-10)

UNION SPRINGS — The Edison softball team moved to 3-0 with a 7-1 win at Union Springs on Monday afternoon.

Gabby Milazzo threw a three hitter, allowing one unearned run and striking out nine in the win. She didn’t walk a batter.

Maliyah McIver and Carissa Cowan had two hits each for Edison. McIver had a double and a triple with a run scored. Cowan had a triple and three RBI, with a run scored.

Kailey Ripley had a double and scored a run and Emma Maggs had a double, an RBI and a run scored.

Brianna Korsky had a hit with an RBI, Milazzo had a hit, Madasyn Huffner had a hit and Mariana Jones-Frosolone had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.
