COLLEGE BASEBALL: HORSEHEADS GRAD SCOTT HAS FIRST TWO COLLEGIATE MULTI-HIT GAMES (2023-03-26)

Horseheads graduate Ryan Scott had the first two multi-hit games of his collegiate career the past week for Mansfield University.

Scott, a sophomore outfielder for the Mountaineers, had two multi-hit games within six days of each other.

Last Saturday, in Game 2 at Shepard University (WV) he was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs, a walk and a stolen base. For the doubleheader he was 3-for-7 with three runs, two walks and two stolen bases.

This past Friday, at home against West Chester University, he had his second multiple hit game going 2-for-5 with a run scored.

Scott has started 10 games for the Mounties this year and for the season he is batting .294 with 10 hits, eight runs, three stolen bases and an on-base percentage of .416.
