ELMIRA — The Elmira outdoor track and field team has been practicing as they gear up to start their season in just over a week.

This was the second week of spring practices for New York schools and the warmer weather has allowed the team out on the track as they prepare to open the season on April 1.

The Express will open the season at Windsor when they compete in the NY/PA Invite.

The first dual meet is at Chenango Forks on April 4 and the team’s first home meet is against Owego and Seton Catholic on April 18.
