Notre Dame graduate Owen Stewart threw three no-hit innings for the George Mason baseball team in a win over Maine on Tuesday,.
Mason moved to 8-8 on the year with an 11-1 win over Maine.
Stewart worked three no-hit innings, allowing no runs and three walks, striking out one.
Stewart has now made six appearances on the year and he’s allowed no runs in five of those appearances.
This is the third time this year Stewart worked three scoreless innings of relief. He worked three scoreless in a win over FIU and three innings of one-hit, no run ball against William & Mary as well.
He also threw scoreless outings against Niagara and Canisius.
The only runs Stewart gave up was in a loss to Georgetown.
This year he’s thrown 12 2/3 innings and allowed five runs, striking out nine.
