UNIFIED BOWLING: CORNING WINS SEASON ENDING EVENT, ITHACA SECOND, FOLLOWED BY HORSEHEADS AND ELMIRA (24 PHOTOS) (March 8, 2023)

CORNING — The Corning unified bowling team won the season-ending event, topping Ithaca by 33 pins.

Corning shot 2,400, Ithaca was next at 2,367, Horseheads took third at 2,279 and Elmira was fourth at 1,846.

The tournament was three matches with eight-person teams, four athletes and four partners.

Corning in the first match got a 52 from Nathan Skarbek and a 93 from Kyra Schoeder, while Lance Maynard shot a 44 and Katherine Dessoye shot a 91.

Noah Dieg shot 157 and Jordyn Jones shot 99, while Jon Stone shot 126 and Austin Terry shot 115 for a 777 in the first match.

In the next match Corning got a 46 from Piper McBride and a 73 from Gabriel Draper, while Eric Dessoye shot 51 and Hans Bjarning shot 98.

Noah Dieg shot 157, Delia Dieg shot 125, Stone shot 133 and Terry shot 108 as Corning shot 791.
In the final match Jeffrey Lanphear shot 106, Brandon Ross shot 111, Hailey Slocum shot 75 and Angela Stevens shot 62.

Noah Dieg shot 146, Jones shot 100, Stone shot 123 and Terry shot 109 for an 832.
Ithaca got an 89 from Oche Onah, while David Barry shot 91, John Mallins shot 75 and Jaxson Wright shot 44.

Evie Doyle shot 112, Oscar Giblin shot 138, Rylie Fox shot 112 and Eli Jacobstein shot 124 as Ithaca shot a 785.

In match two Onah shot 105, David Barry shot 89, Mallins shot 91 and Wright shot 63.
Remi Germain shot 106, Estyn Elkouh shot 89, Katy Cary shot 87 and Giblin shot 114 as Ithaca shot 744.

In the final match Onah shot 92, Barry shot 128, Mallins shot 95 and Chase Preston shot 51.
Fox shot 149, Leticia Smolka shot 103, Izzy Fitzgerald shot 125 and Teddie Wixson shot 95 as Ithaca shot 838.

Horseheads in the first match got a 100 from Garrett Cunningham, a 99 from Owen Wood, a 73 from Shaylynn Crandall and a 62 from Mackenzie Stein.

Josh McCawley shot 120, Ojas Bhushan shot 99, Olivia Gavin shot 80 and Natalie Williams shot 80 as Horseheads shot 713.

In the second match Victoria Burden shot 98, Arthur Heath shot 120, Jackson Klug shot 85 and Adam Wolf shot 104.

Delaney Woodhouse shot 89, Delaney Cook shot 95, Anthony Miller shot 63 and McCawley shot 136 for a 790.

In the third match Cameron Williams shot 88, Kathryn Finlayson shot 86, Cunningham shot 87 and Abreyonna Struble shot 76.

Brooke McCarthy shot 88, Mario Ruggiero shot 107, Aliya Alsworth shot 123 and Tate Coleman shot a 121 for a 776.

Elmira in the first match got an 87 from Brice Chaffee, Kendra Bliss shot 62, Desirae Heater shot 100 and Madeline Griffin shot 102.

Brady Gray shot 70, Alexander Wilder shot 64, Adam Wilson shot 99 and Rodney May shot a 87 as Elmira shot 671.

In the second match Liam Chaffee shot 104, Catherine West shot 79, Musa Vann shot 91 and Noah Colombani shot 76.

Gray shot 78, Austin Ward shot 86, Wilson shot 84 and May shot 84 for a 606.

In the third match Wilder shot 73, Bliss shot 84, Natayah DePrimo shot 38 and Ravin Cleary shot 59.
