The Elmira Heat 14u team won the Whirlwind Winter Chill 2023 Tournament at SUNY Broome over the weekend.

The team, coached by Mandy Fife, went 7-1 in pool play to advance to the gold bracket.

They won their semifinal match to reach the final and then won the championship against the top seeded team to take the title.

The roster includes players from Elmira, Horseheads and Elmira Heights.
