HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING: THREE SHOOT 595 OR HIGHER AS EDISON BOWLING TOPS TIOGA (2022-11-29)
Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Edison bowling team had three bowlers shoot 595 or higher on the day as they picked up a big 3-1 win over Tioga at Dixie Lanes on Tuesday.
Edison shot 933, 845 and 987 for a 2,765 total, while Tioga shot 839, 860 and 776 for a 2,475.
Logan Card led the way for the Spartans with a 679 series, shooting 205-235 and 239, while Zack Crown shot 202-189-265 for a 656 series.
Ashton Colunio had a 595 for the Spartans, shooting games of 224, 168 and 203.
Patrick Mahan shot 147-137-134-418 and Jared Barber shot 155-116-146-417 and Joe Paul shot 50-79-61-190.
Tioga was led by Nick Slater who shot 163, 202 and 222 for a 587 and Brad Webb, who shot 236, 184 and 161 for a 581. Frank Chapman shot 185-193-170-548.
Edison doesn’t have a girls team so the Tigers won on the girls side 4-0.
Tioga's girls shot 690, 704 and 735 for a 2,129. They were led by Chloe Gillett who shot 148-165-173-486 and Caroline Chapman who shot 136-132-192-459.
