HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' SWIMMING & DIVING: EXPRESS RETURN STRONG GROUP AS THEY PREPARE TO OPEN SEASON (2022-11-29)

Southern Tier Sports Report
The Elmira swimming and diving team gets the season started at home tonight as they play host to Dryden.

The Express have high hopes for the season as they return a strong group of swimmers and divers from last year, including Creed Hackett, a state qualifier in diving a year ago.

Jumiors: Creed Hackett, Brayden Hill, Kaden Hill, Jan Mayoras, Aiden Mckibbin, Wyatt Moss, Charles Murphy, Cooper Taft, Michael Taylor
Underclassmen: Jace Barr, Zxander Gabriel, Aiden Brooks, Donovan Williams
Coaches’ thoughts on returning athletes: strong group of boys that swim with a lot of heart. Continues improvement is key to their success. Creed will be competing hard to get back to the state meet and improve his rankings
Newcomers: Isaiah Hobart, Aiden Brooks, Aiden Ranck
Thoughts on newcomers: they are coming into a great group of boys, they will fit in nicely to our lineup. They have had a good modified experience to start their swim career. 
Thoughts on team this year: we are going to push ourselves to succeed at every event we compete in. Success will depend on each and everyone of them competing their best daily.
Thoughts on league this year: Continues to be a strong league to swim in with lots of state qualifiers
