ELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison boys’ basketball team hit the court on Friday morning in a scrimmage with the Troy Trojans as they prepare for the start of their season.

The Spartans were squaring off with a strong team out of the Northern Tier League in Pennsylvania as they prepare to kick off the year.

Edison and Troy both met last year in a scrimmage as well.
