SCHEDULE SET, DRAFT PICKS SELECTED AS ELMIRA RENEGADES READY FOR SEASON (2022-11-07)

The schedule is set, and the draft has been held as the Elmira Renegades get ready to open the inaugural season in the Professional Box Lacrosse Association.

The season opens on Dec. 30 at Binghamton and the first home game is Jan. 7 against the Syracuse Park. There are 14 games on the schedule in this first season, seven home and seven away.

The Renegades have the first 10 players on their roster after the first PBLA draft was held.

The first selection was Bradley Voigt. The 26-year-old is a former Syracuse University standout, who had 34 goals and 44 points during his final season with the Case.

He was an all-ACC Tournament team selection his final year at Syracuse. The Penn Yan native was drafted in the NLLL Draft out of college and played for the Rochester Nighthawks.

The team’s second-round pick was Brett Logan, who played for the Senca Marksmen.


The third pick was MacCoy Abrams, who played for the Wallaceburg Red Devils of the Ontario Lacrosse Association.

The team’s fourth-round pick was Dawson Tait. Tait is a former RIT standout, who was an honorable mention all-American his final season. He was a second-team All-Liberty League selection and the Liberty League Tournament most Outstanding Player.

Cody Radziewicz was the team’s fifth-round pick. He played in high school at Christian Brothers Academy, then played for Johns Hopkins, where he started 12 games in 2016, finishing with 13 goals and nine assists on the year.

In the sixth-round the team picked James Chadwick, who played at Hilbert College. He was team MVP his senior year, and he finished with 16 goals and 15 assists.

Adam Osaka was the seventh-round pick. He played at the University of Albany, where he was honorable mention All-American his final season. He was a Scholar All-American and was the 21st pick by the Atlanta Blaze in the MLL Draft.

The team selected Owen Hill in the eighth round and Davey Jones in the 10th round.

In between Hill and Jones they took Jacob Pulver in the ninth round. Pulver was a two-time captain and third-team All-American at Cornell. He led the team to Ivy League Championships and three trips to the NCAA quarterfinals. He was a three-time all-Ivy Defender, earning unanimous first-team honors in 2018.
