CORNING YOUTH FOOTBALL TEAMS WIN SUPER BOWL IN TWO AGE GROUPS (2022-11-01)

The Corning Youth Football League teams won the Super Bowl in two of their three age groups over the weekend.

The B tackle level (third and fourth grade) went 10-0 on the season, finishing first in their division and they won the Super Bowl on Sunday over Maine-Endwell.

The C flag level (first and second grade) went 9-1 on the season finishing first in their division and winning the Super Bowl against Norwich over the weekend.

The A tackle level (fifth and sixth grade), went 6-3, winning their division and reaching the semifinal round, where they fell to Maine-Endwell on Oct. 23.

This is the second season in the Southern Tier Youth Football Conference for Corning. The conference consists of 26 teams from all over the Southern Tier.
