COLLEGE FOOTBALL: FREEMAN RUSHES FOR 274 YARDS IN ALFRED WIN, RANKS IN TOP 10 IN NATION IN RUSHING (2022-09-26)

Corning-Painted Post graduate Max Freeman IV had a game for the ages for the Alfred football team over the weekend.

In a 31-23 win over Kalamazoo College the sophomore running back rushed for 274 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries.

The performance was the third-most rushing yards in Alfred school history.

It was a career-high for Freeman in yards and carries, and matched his career-high with two touchdowns on the ground. Freeman also had an 80-yard run in the game, the longest run of his career, and he also had a career-high with four catches in the contest.

This season Freeman has 103 carries for 478 yards and five touchdowns.

Freeman is currently ninth in the nation in rushing in Division 3.
