HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY: EDISON GIRLS TAKE FIFTH IN SMALL SCHOOL AT OWEGO INVITE (13 PHOTOS) (2022-09-24)

OWEGO — The Edison girls finished fifth in the small-school division at the Owego Invitational on Saturday, while the boys took 10th.

For the girls the Spartans finished with 135 points. NEB won at 33 points.

Maura Heraghty was 18th in 21:48.2 for th eSpartans and Mayla Falank was 21st in 22:15.3 while Josie Burleigh was 24th in 22:28.2.

Hannah Lasko was 55th in 26:06 and Sophia Mirando was 57th in 26:27.7.

Riley Thresher was 64th in 28:12 and Haylie Rosenthal was 68th in 29:19.

The Edison boys had 257 points. NEB won at 26 points.

Ethan Smith was 32nd for Edison in 19:48.4 and Martin Benjamin was 54th in 21:43.2.

Jameson Duggan was 65th in 22:36.9 and Darius Keley was 73rd in 23:28.1 while Zachary Sternfels was 75th in 23:33.3. Carter Smith was 85th in 35:40.9.
