HORSEHEADS — Jammer Klee scored one goal in each half and Kaelan Brenen-Buseck scored his first varsity goal as Elmira topped Horseheads, 5-1 on Thursday night.

“We stress team, team, team and the boys really put it all together today,” Elmira coach Derek Hamilton said. “Everyone saw time on the field and everyone contributed to the victory. We have a group that really works hard for each other and that joy and camaraderie is showing on the pitch.”

Shane Heifferon had an assist on the day and Sam Brenen-Buseck had six saves in goal for the shutout.

Jake Bennett had 10 saves in goal for Horseheads.
