TRUAX BROTHERS TO PLAY FOR SOUTHERN TIER TEAM AT BCANY SUMMER HOOPS FESTIVAL (2022-07-30)

A pair of Horseheads athletes will be playing for the Southern Tier team at the BCANY Summer Hoops Festival.

Rising senior Amauri Truax and his brother, rising junior Jeremy Truax, are both on the Southern Tier team for the tournament that will take place in Johnson City from August 5-7.

The rest of the roster includes Owego’s John and Joseph Bangel, who will both be seniors, Sincere Clemons of Ithaca (Jr.), Drew Erickson of Seton Catholic (Jr.) and Aidan Fenkl and Cullen Green of Maine-Endwell, both seniors.

The roster also includes Marathon’s Conor Holland (Sr.), Vestal’s Jalan Johnson (So.), Makai Lindsey of Union-Endicott (Jr.) and Larry Morse of U-E (Sr.).

The head coach is Owego’s Chris Evans and his assistants will be Owego’s Tom Bronk and Sonny Spera of Chenango Valley.
