NOTRE DAME'S YOUNG WINS LEROY 4TH OF JULY (2022-07-04)

LEROY — After two years off LeRoy had their annual Fourth of July 5K on Monday.

The overall and male winner was Jacob Hinman in 20:19, while the female winner was Piper Young in 23:36.

In the male 14-and-under age group Tommy Preston won in 22:32, followed by Marshall Preston (27:07), and Oliver Kelly (27:15).

Raya Preston (33:51) won the 14-and-under female category.

Hinman won the 15-19 male category, while Hunter Huffman was second in 24:42. Young won the female 15-19 category, with Abby Lewis (27:30) second, and Kali Wesneski (28.04) third.

Mya Thuotte (27.30) won the 20-29 female age group, while Allison Roshannon (36:43) was second, and Grace O’Hara (36:52) came in third.

Chris Manning (20:31) won the 30-39 male age group, followed by Scott Hakes (26:23), and Josh slocum (36:51). Erica Shedden (24:33) won the 30-39 female age group, with Allyson Gabrielson (28:46) second, and Megan Slocum (30:15) third.

Ryan VanNoy (22:25) won the 40-49 male age group, followed by Tyler Sechrist (23:06), and Eric Hinman (23:28).

Lynn Hinman (24:42) won the 40-49 female age group, with Angela Schoonover (26:23) second, and Michelle VanHorn (31:22) third.

William Beck (36:43) won the 50-59 male age group with Tresa Kelly (42:24) winning the 50-59 female age group. Sherry VanHorn (48:08) was second, and Maren Callahan (49:33) came in third.

Bill Mosier won the 60-69 male age group, with Mike VanHorn (33:26) second, and Steven Scott (33:38) third. Susan Scott (46:55) won the 60-69 female age group.
