ELMIRA — The Southern Tier Thunder 10u softball team won the title at the FURYous Summer softball Tournament over the weekend.

The Thunder won in the semifinals 15-2 and then won in the final 12-0.

The Thunder include a number of local players and they are 24-3-2 on the season and they have now won five championships this year.

The Thunder are in Appalchian next weekend and then they head to Rochester and Hershey, Pa.
