DISTRICT SIX LITTLE LEAGUE ALL-STARS (MAJORS): KIBLER HOMERS, DRIVES IN 4, CRISCO DOMINANT IN RELIEF AS CORNING TOPS BIG FLATS (2022-07-01)

Isaiah Kibler homered and had a two-run double and Joe Crisco pitched 4 2/3 innings of shutout relief as Corning’s Majors baseball team picked up a 6-1 win over previously unbeaten Big Flats in District 6 Little League action.

Corning had a four-run fourth inning to break open a scoreless game, and Kibler had a two-run double in the inning.

After Big Flats got a run in the fifth, Kibler hit a two-run home run in the sixth.

Bradley Rhodes started and went 1 1/3 innings, allowing three hits and one run, striking out one. Crisco pitched 4  2/3 innings of three-hit relief, striking out eight.

Kibler had two hits, four RBI and a run scored and Rhodes had two hits and scored two runs.

Parker Tolbert had two hits and scored a run in the game and Landen Speciale, Jake Page, Elijah Hutter and Brendan Patton all had hits for Corning.

Tolbert and Page each scored a run and Patton had an RBI and scored a run.

Lyncoln Bennett and Zach Kaiser each had two hits for Big Flats. Joe Wood and Beckett Doane each had hits in the game, with Beckett driving in a run.

Gavin VanGorden scored the Big Flats run.

Johnny Graham went five innings, allowing eight hits and four runs, striking out eight and Doane struck out one and allowed two hits and two runs in one inning of relief.
