HORSEHEADS — The Corning Minors baseball team edged Horseheads 15-13 in District 6 Little League action on Thursday night.

Corning scored four in the first and six in the second to lead 10-8 after two innings.

Corning added two runs in the third and three in the fourth.

Horseheads got a run in the third and three in the fourth and a run in the sixth in the game.

Blake Kizis had three hits, with a double, and three runs scored for Corning and Ronnie LaFever had two doubles and scored two runs.

Damian Vosburgh had two hits and scored three runs and Nick Rhodes had two hits with a double.

Max Adriance and Payton Kener each had a hit and scored a run and Noah Magnuson, Colton Warner and Brodie O’Dell each scored runs in the game.

Horseheads got a double and three runs scored from Vincent Foote and Zach Mendez had a hit and scored two runs.

Trace Woodard, Jesse Schuyler and Devin Correll all scored two runs and Hayden McKinney and Eli Daular scored runs in the game.
