BIG FLATS — The Big Flats Minors baseball team keeps rolling along, picking up a 29-0 victory over Waverly on Thursday.

Big Flats has now outscored teams 66-2 in their three games so far in pool play. Only Corning, who they beat 17-2 in the opener, has scored a run on them this season.

Big Flats offense has been dominant all year and they came out firing on Thursday, but the pitching was also great with Nate Burdick getting the start on the mound. Burdick also led off the game by reaching and scoring the first run of the game.

The defense was also elite for Big Flats, with shortstop Bremen McCullough hauling in a ground ball at short, racing to second to get the out and throwing to first to complete a double play.

On Saturday Big Flats is at Corning.
