PHOTO GALLERY: IMAGES FROM THE CITY OF LIGHTS CLASSIC BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT (24 PHOTOS) (2022-06-13) Southern Tier Sports Report ELMIRA — The City of Lights Hoop Group hosted their first local tournament over the weekend as they played host to the City of Lights Classic.
There were seven age groups, with 30 teams in action in the tournament.
Teams from all over upstate New York and Pennsylvania helped to make up the tournament.
Among the programs that competed were teams from the Prestigious City Rocks and Syracuse Hoops programs.
The games ran Saturday and Sunday with games at Cohen Middle School and Thomas Edison High School, and the older age groups at the Elmira/Chemung County Family Fitness Center. ——— PHOTOS BY BRIAN FEES
