IAC BASEBALL: ND, EDISON PLAYERS RECOGNIZED WITH IAC ALL-STAR HONORS (June 5, 2022)

A number of Notre Dame and Edison baseball players earned all-IAC honors after both teams had strong seasons.

The Crusaders won the division title and reached the sectional final, while Edison was a sectional qualifier this season.

In the IAC South Large School Division Owen Stewart, Logan Meisner, Tyler Richards, Steven Gough and Cam Johnson all earned honors for Notre Dame.

Other IAC players recognized were SVEC’s Cody Sayre, O-M/WG’s cam Holland and Daniel Lewis and Waverly’s Bryce Bailey, Jay Pipher and Ty Beeman.

Honorable mention all-stars for Notre Dame were Luke Richards and Jahmeire Keyser. SVEC’s Hunter Harmon, Jayden Grube and Kameron Smith and Waverly’s Joey Tomasso, Thomas Hand and Caden Hollywood also were recognized.

In the IAC South Small School Division Edison’s Dylan Swartwood, Kyler Ripley and Max Goodman all earned first-team honors.

Other first-team honorees were Drew Macumber, Casey Stoughton, Max Dydynski and Ethan Perry of Tioga along with Newark Valley’s Mikey Wandell and Lukas Rincavage and Groton’s Isaac Allen.

Honorable mention picks from Edison were De’Shon Cook and Michael Brown of Edison, along with Tioga’s Cobe Whitmore and Shea Bailey.
