H.S. TRACK AND FIELD: CIPOLLA WINS LJ TO HIGHLIGHT DAY FOR HORSEHEADS AT FAST TIMES INVITE (24 PHOTOS) (2022-05-14) Southern Tier Sports Report CORNING — Horseheads got a victory from Isabella Cipolla to highlight their performances at the Corning Fast Times Invite on Friday.
Isabella Cipolla won the long jump with a leap of 16-feet.
In the 100 meters for the boys Ryan Anderson took sixth in 12.41 and in the 200 Bradock Salisbury was second in 23.51 while Finnian Scanlon Shaw was fourth in 24.51.
Seth Wilsoncroft was third in the 400 in 53.68 and Shaw took fifth in 54.98.
Ben Long was fifth in the 800 in 2:09.02 and in the 1600 Axl Andrus was second in 4:28.40, while Ace Andrus was sixth in 4:34.20.
Keagen Winkky was sixth in the 3200 in 11:01.95 and in the 110 hurdles Calvin Cradle was fifth in 20.33 followed by Dylan Nguyen in 20.51.
Cragle was fifth in the 400 hurdles in 1:09.83 followed by Nolan Cruise in 1:11.44.
Horseheads took second in the 400 relay in 47.23 and second in the 400 throwers relay in 58.52. They were second in the 1600 relay in 3:32.69 and second in the 3200 relay (9:16.81).
Elvonus Tyler was sixth in the long jump at 16-feet, 3-inches.
For the girls Natalie Yearick was sixth in the 100 in 14.14 and she took third in the 200 in 28.94 with Brenna O’Brien fifth in 29.10.
Samantha Oakes was third in the 800 in 2:40.31 with Taylor Tremba sixth in 2:49.61.
Ayla Kerwan was second in the 3000 in 12:33.43 and O’Brien took second in the 100 hurdles in 17.41.
Alexus Borek was third in the 400 hurdles in 1:13.86 and Corinne DeFilippo took fifth in the 2000 steeplechase in 9:21.80.
Horseheads took third in the 1600 relay in 4:34.29 and in the high jump Lindsey Wood was fourth at 4-feet, 6-inches followed by Borek at 4-feet, 4-inches.
