H.S. SOFTBALL: RIPLEY THROWS NO-HITTER TO LEAD EDISON PAST NEWFIELD (2022-05-11)

NEWFIELD — Kailey Ripley threw her first career no-hitter to help lead the Edison softball team to a 15-0 win over Newfield on Wednesday.

Ripley struck out 11 in the win. Ripley also had two doubles at the plate, driving in two runs.

Brianna Korsky had two doubles for Eridson, with an RBI and a run scored and Mariana Jones had a double, a triple, two RBI and two runs scored.

Emily Aiello had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored and Charlee Stroman had a triple, an RBI and two runs scored, while Maliyah McIver had a double, an RBI and two runs scored.

Gabby Milazzo had a hit and an RBI in the game.

Madasyn Huffner and Maddison Pack each scored two runs in the game and Maycie Bennett and Emma Mags both scored runs for the Spartans.
