H.S. SOFTBALL: EDISON SPLITS PAIR OF GAMES AT MARY TESTA TOURNEY (23 PHOTOS) (2022-04-30) Southern Tier Sports Report CHENANGO — The Edison softball team split a pair of games at the Mary Testa Tournament on Saturday.
The Spartans won a 5-1 game over Chenango Forks and fell in a 15-3 game to Union-Endicott as they played a pair of bigger schools.
Against Forks the Spartans had seven hits in the game with three players notching two hits each.
Brianna Korsky had two hits, with a triple and two runs scored and Mailyah McIver had two hits, with a double, an RBI an da run scored.
Gabby Milazzo had two hits, with an RBI and Bella Moffe had a hit and an RBI in the game.
Marcie Bennett and Charlee Stroman each scored runs in the game.
Milazzo struck out two and allowed just five hits and one run, not earned to get the victory.
Against Union Endicott the Spartans got two hits from Korsy, who scored a run.
Emily Aiello and McIver each had hits in the game. Aiello scored two runs and McIver had an RBI.
