YOUTH SOFTBALL: FURY FASTPITCH '10 SOFTBALL LFINDS SUCCESS AT JENNIE FINCH SPRING INVITE (April 25, 2022)

The Fury Fastpitch ’10 softball team traveled to compete at the 12U Jennie Finch Spring Invitational at Diamond Nation.

The Fury team, which was made up of 11-year-olds playing up a level, won a 4-2 game over the Rhode Island Thunder Gold 12U in the middle of three games at the tournament.

The Fury wound up the day at the tourney 1-0-2, earning ties with the East Coast Panthers 3-3 and the NJ Pride 12U 5-0.

Lilah LaBarron was the winning pitcher for the Fury, throwing five innings in the win.

The Fury opened to a 2-0 lead in the first on a LaBarron RBI fielder’s choice and a run scored on an error.

Paige Ells went 2-for-3 and had an RBI and Rosie Wheeler started the Fury’s big fourth inning with a single and she scored on a wild pitch.
