MYRTLE BEACH — A four-run third inning proved to be the difference as Horseheads fell to Bamberg-Ehrhardt out of South Carolina on Wednesday, 6-2.

Horseheads got two hits each from Maddie Matkosky, Eva Koratsis and Molly Wolf in the game.

Matkosky had a double and scored a run in the game.

Olivia Packard had a double and an RBI for Horseheads and Carly Scott had a hit, while Katie Morse scored a run.

Megan Wolf struck out six in five innings, allowing four hits and four unearned runs. Matkosky struck out one in two innings and allowed no hits and two unearned runs.
