HORSEHEADS — The Blue Raiders tennis team picked up their first victory of the season on Tuesday, downing Elmira 7-0.

The Express were shorthanded coming into the match, and even more shorthanded on Tuesday.

Elmira has had just four golfers this year, but one was not at the match on Tuesday and another one of Tuesday’s matches ended in a medical forfeit.

The Blue Raiders are at Ithaca today, while the Express host Maine-Endwell on Wednesday and they are at Corning on Thursday.
