STAC SWIMMING & DIVING: ELMIRA TOPS JOHNSON CITY IN THE POOL (2022-01-20)

ELMIRA — The Elmira swimming and diving team picked up a 95-76 victory over Johnson City on Tuesday.

Creed Hackett, Wesley Taft, Andrew Degnan and Gavin Shoemaker won the 200 medley relay in 1:55.99.

Jacob Rose won the 200 free in 1:55.24 followed by Degnan in 2:11.25 and in the 200 IM Jan Mayoras won in 2:34.85 while Michael Taylor took third in 2:48.70.

Taft won the 50 free in 24.78 followed by Lance Bahantka in 25.02.

In the diving Hackett won at 253.80 with Cooper Taft third in 172.15.

Rose won the 100 fly in 56.48 with Charles Lovell second in 1:13.18.

Degnan won the 100 free in 54.29 and in the 500 free Mayoras won in 6:08.56 with Bahantka third in 6:32.24.

Rose, Shoemaker, Hackett and Taft won the 200 free relay in 1:39.95 and Charles Murphy was third in the 100 back in 1:18.49.

In the 100 breaststroke Wesley Taft had the top time as an exhibition in 1:11.98 while Taylor had the next best time as an exhibition in 1:17.63.

In the 400 free relay Bahantka, Rose, Hackett and Degnan had the top time as an exhibition in 3:44.88.
