ELMIRA — The Elmira bowling teams celebrated senior day in style as the boys and girls each swept Johnson City.

The Elmira boys continued their recent dominance, posing a three-game score of 3,290 to get the sweep.

Elmira shot games of 1,032, 1,089 and 1,169 to get the win. The score is the highest the Express have shot in at least 15 years.

All five Elmira bowlers shot over 620 on the day.

Nick Ravert led Elmira with a 203-236-248-687 and Skylar Shaddock shot 248-182-257-686.

Ty Bolt shot 174-256-225-655 and Joey Chilson Purvis shot 222-215-203-640, while Alex Smith shot 186-200-236-622.

Lucas Card led Johnson City with a 625 with a high game of 235.

For the girls Elmira shot 811-861-848-2,520.

Madi Smith led Elmira with a 192-210-200-602 and Ryan Oakes shot 155-170-195-520. Bella Wood shot 178-181-157-516 and Abby Cunningham shot 150-164-138-452. Abby Hink shot 136-136-158-430.

Anna Regulski shot 540 with a high game of 240 for Johnson City.

On the JV side the Elmira boys fell to Johnson City 4-1. Elmira shot 763-821-759-2,323 and Johnson City shot 795-858-689, 2,337.

Phillip Addington led Elmira with a 557 with a high game of 211 and Nick German shot 498 with a high game of 196, while Kory Hassen shot a 430 with a high game of 150.
