SOUTHPORT — The Notre Dame eight-man football team fell behind early in a 61-0 loss to Lansing on homecoming.
Lansing scored 34 in the opening quarter and led 54-0 at the half.
Yunus Hussain threw for 44 yards and ran for seven in the game. Brenzel McLaurin had four grabs for 38 yards, Gabriel Caporiccio had three catches for 14 yards and Dominic Caporiccio had three catches.
Tyler Paige ran for 206 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown in the game.
Luka Clark had eight tackles for Notre Dame and Legend Ruise had six tackles.
Caitlin Keenan was named homecoming queen at halftime of the game.
