Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Corning girls swimming and diving team picks up a 93-85 win over Elmira on Tuesday afternoon.
In the 200 medley relay Corning’s Alexys Nale, Sharon Hwang, Alyssa Reimsnyder and Leah Muckey won in 2:04.25.
In the 200 free Ellie Ballard of Corning won in 2:13.02 followed by Elmira’s Scarlett Hollenbeck (2:31.09) and Corning’s Lia Kunigonis (2:36.05).
Nale won the 200 IM in 2:27.42 followed by Elmira’s Aubrey Newkirk (2:39.03) and Eleanor Hagan (2:51.03).
Reimsnyder won the 50 free in 28.27 followed by Elmira’s Leah Church (28.32) and Muckey (28.41).
Isadora Cyr of Elmira won the diving at 172.55 followed by Corning’s Sharon De Pedro at 136.20 and Mitchell KayAnne of Elmira at 121.10.
Reimsnyder won the 100 fly in 1:08.77 followed by Newkirk (1:11.64) and De Pedro (1:17.23).
Muckey won the 100 free in 1:02.20 followed by Elmira’s Brooke Cross at 1:03.13 and Emma Coeffic of Corning at 1:07.85.
Ballard won the 500 free in 5:37.45 followed by teammate Lia Kunigonis (6:38.18) and Jane Hagan of Elmira (7:13.16).
Reimsnyder, Muckey, De Pedro and Ballard won the 200 free relay in 1:55.47.
Nale won the 100 back in 1:06.15 followed by Hollenbeck (1:17.06) and Payton Dotts of Elmira (1:17.81).
Church won the 100 breaststroke in 1:20.96 followed by teammates Alivia Emanuel (1:29.77) and Alyssa Murphy (1:35.36). Hwang had the top time as an exhibition in 1:19.98 and Coeffic had the third best time in 1:26.84.
Elmira won the 400 free relay in 4:34.89 with a team of Eleanor and Jane Hagan, Hollenbeck and Newkirk.
Corning’s Ballard, Nale, De Pedro and Coeffic had the best time as an exhibition in 4:19.67.
