IAC GIRLS' SOCCER: HUFFNER SCORES FIRST CAREER GOALS AS EDISON TOPS MORAVIA (2026-09-25)

MORAVIA — Mia Huffner scored her first two career goals as the Edison girls’ soccer team beat Moravia 2-0 on Friday night.

Huffner scored at 8:57 and at 34:28 in the win.

Edison had nine shots and nine corner kicks and Moravia had six shots and three corner kicks.

Kaylynn Tarby had three saves for Edison and Moravia had three saves. 

“A great result tonight for our group versus a solid Moravia team,” Edison coach Kevin Weber said. “Following a few days of much needed recovery time, the effort and performance tonight was outstanding.

“I felt we controlled the midfield, did well to disrupt their attack, and fought hard to win the little battles throughout the game.”
