Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING — The Corning Hawks volleyball team picked up a three-set win over Binghamton on Thursday night, 25-6, 25-6, 25-10.
Jordan Gridley had three kills, a block and a dig for Corning and Char Starns had two points, an ace, eight kills and a block.
Ava Brooks had 11 points, two aces and seven digs and Paisley Emmick had seven points, 25 assists and six digs, while Jillian Wood had six points, three aces, five kills and six digs.
Corning won the JV match 25-11, 25-8, 25-11.
Gabby Starns had four kills and a block for Corning and Brooke Schmitz had four kills, two digs, two aces and eight points.
Leah Beall had five kids, six digs, three aces and four points and Alexa Topper had 18 assists, four digs, six aces and 10 points.
