Southern Tier Sports ReportLANSING — MK Young scored all six goals as the Notre Dame girls’ soccer team picked up a 6-5 overtime win over Lansing on Wednesday.
Young scored the game winner at 3:38 of overtime.
Young tied the program record of six goals, held by Rachel Lamoreaux.
Sadie Potter had three assists and Emily Coseo had two assists, while Lauren Coseo had an assist.
Liz Young finished with 16 saves in goal.
“It was a great team effort by all of our players,” Notre Dame coach Adam Pitcher said. “We made some changes in our lineup after the last few games, Lansing threw everything at us to tie the game, but the girls kept their composure and fought for the win.”
