SECTION 4 GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: CORNING FALLS TO ITHACA (2026-09-22)

CORNING — The Corning Hawks girls’ swimming and diving team fell to Ithaca on Tuesday, 101-82. 

In the 200 free Ellie Ballard finished third for Corning in 2:08.48 and in the 200 IM Sharon Hwang took second in 2:57.12. 

Alexys Nale of Corning won the 50 free in 25.56 and Sharon De Pedro finished third in the diving at 150.70.

Alyssa Reimsnyder won the 100 fly in 1:06.85 and Nale won the 100 free in 57.89. 

Ballard won the 500 free in 5:28.83. 

The Hawks on the 200 free relay in 1:51.19 and Reimsnyder was second in the 100 back in 1:11.80.

Hwang was second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:19.93 and in the 400 free relay Corning took first in 4:23.89.
