IAC GIRLS' SOCCER: EDISON FALLS AT DRYDEN (2026-09-19)

Southern Tier Sports Report
DRYDEN — The Edison girls’ soccer team fell at Dryden on Saturday morning 2-0.

Allyson Smith had both Dryden goals at 19:08 and 78:55.

Dryden had seven shots and three corners and Edison had three shots and a corner.

Mia Huffner had four saves for Edison and Dryden had two saves in goal.

“Extremely proud of our group’s effort,” Edison coach Kevin Weber said. “Injuries and fatigue were visibly affecting us today, playing our sixth game in 11 days. But, in a game that was mainly spent between the 18s, our defense did a phenomenal job of limiting chances, as our attack continues to build an identity.

“With a short break upcoming, the goal is to get healthy and prepared to take another step forward as a program through the second half of our season.”
