Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — The Elmira Express football team got off to a 21-0 lead on their way to a 27-14 victory over Aquinas on Friday night.
Willie Walker had a pair of touchdown runs for Elmira and Ryan Goble had a scoring run, while Dom Goetz also had a touchdown run.
Benny Guyette finished 3-for-4 on extra points.
Goetz started the scoring for Elmira, with Guyette hitting the extra point.
Waker had a touchdown run to make it 14-0 after the Guyette kick and Goble then made it 21-0 with his touchdown run and the Guyette kick.
With the lead down to 21-14, Walker broke off a 53-yard touchdown run to cap the scoring.
