CORNING — The Corning Hawks boys’ soccer team got a hat trick from Landyn Proudfoot as they beat Binghamton 6-0.
Proudfoot had the three goals and James Goodman had two goals and an assist.
Bradley Smith had a goal and Ross Fucito, Manuel Mendoza and Jackson Timmons all had assists in the game.
Corning had 23 shots and 11 corner kicks and Binghamton had two shots and no corner kicks.
Ben Hufnagel and Brody Gordon both had saves for Corning and Eldar Turkovic had 16 saves for Binghamton.
“It was a nice, collective win,” Corning coach Chad Freelove said. “We have a big non-league match tomorrow (Saturday) at Baldwinsville. We will prepare during training tomorrow.”
