IAC BOYS' SOCCER: 7TH GRADER GREENE NETS FIRST VARSITY GOAL, BUT EDISON FALLS AT WG (2026-09-17)

WATKINS GLEN — Seventh-grader Jasiah Greene scored his first varsity goal, but the Edison boys’ soccer team fell to Watkins Glen 3-1.

It was 2-0 Watkins Glen at the half on a pair of goals by Jude Santos.

In the 53rd minute Greene scored his first varsity goal to cut the deficit in half, but Watkins scored one more goal late by Dominic Thomas. 

Nate Perez had 21 saves in goal for the Spartans. 

Edison hosts Dryden on Friday.
