VESTAL — The Corning boys’ golf team dropped a match at Vestal on Thursday afternoon, 195-225.

Isaiah Kibler led Corning with a 38 and Judah Stauffer shot a 44, while Connor Nehring had a 45.

Hunter Akins shot a 47 and Abram Inthanongsak had a round of 51 and Lucas Jennings shot a 56.

Larry Morgan earned medalist honors with a 36 for Vestal and Teddy Brosius had a 37, while Rowan O’Donnell had a 38. Liem Bigelow and Michael Schmidt both shot rounds of 42 and Matthew Herceg had a 52.

In JV action Vestal won 229-263. 

Corning got a 50 from Paxton Kittner and Zeke Chappell, Wyatt Lozynski and Owen Anderson all shot 52. Mike Sweet and Ian Hughson shot rounds of 57.
