Southern Tier Sports ReportBINGHAMTON — The Corning Hawks tennis team picked up a 6-1 win at Binghamton on Wednesday night.
Corning’s Ella Alberg won 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6) over Vanessa Nickerson at second singles and at third singles Sophia Rim won 6-3, 6-1 over Mary Keenan. At fourth singles Rebecca Spike won 6-3, 6-4 over Molly McMahon.
Kate Scanlon and Jaedyn Vernacotola won 6-1, 6-1 over Caroline Clarke and Felicity Clarke at first doubles and Taylor Kaelin and Natalie Ginalski won 6-0, 6-1 over Lyn Potts and Bevin Precopio. At third doubles Tess Barber and Lila Caparella won 6-0, 6-0 over Aurora Tripp and Jordan Wilkerson.
Nora Tinder of Binghamton won at first singles 6-3, 6-4 over Kassidy McNeill.
