Southern Tier Sports Report CORNING — The Corning Hawks girls’ soccer team got two goals from Aubrey Rose as they picked up a 4-1 win over Susquehanna Valley on Saturday afternoon.
Lauren Younken and Lindy Disbrow each added goals for the Hawks.
Elise Timmons had an assist and goalie Karina Swarthout finished with four saves in net.
“This was a nice win after a tough week,” Corning coach Julie Pierce said. “We moved the ball better today and controlled the temp. We are looking to use this momentum as we are on the road next week.
