Southern Tier Sports Report BINGHAMTON — The Horseheads football team moved to 2-0 on the season with a 49-16 win at Binghamton on Saturday afternoon.
Bryce Thomas sacked the quarterback and ran back the fumble recover for a 66-yard defensive touchdown in the game and he had a two-yard touchdown run in the win.
Aiden Culshaw ran for 135 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries. Chris Thomas had 84 yards and a touchdown on two carries, with a 76-yard touchdown run on the day. Culshaw intercepted a pass in the game.
Thomas ran for 62 yards.
Lyncoln Bennett threw for 77 yards in the game and Jahviee Meisner had three grabs for 47 yards. Chris Thomas had a 25-yard catch and Noah Gee had a five-yard catch.
Elijah Miller had eight tackles and Ryan Cicciarelli had six tackles. Thomas had three tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Baraka Schmidt intercepted a pass.
