IAC VOLLEYBALL: EDISON OPENS SEASON WITH WIN OVER WHITNEY POINT (2026-09-10)

ELMIRA HEIGHTS — The Edison girls’ volleyball team opened the season with a 3-0 win over Whitney Point, 25-23, 25-21, 25-20.

Isabelle Guarnieri had eight digs and five kills and Aveyah Nelson had three digs and five assists.

Melania Cheplick had two kills, two aces, three digs and an assist and Kayla Rossi had a dig.

Claire Elston had five kills and Hailey Clark had five kills, a block and an assist.

Rosie Wheeler had 10 digs and two aces and Lyla Cowulich had five assists and an ace.

Eden Bethel had a dig and Emma Nisbet had a kill and a dig. 

Whitney Point won the JV match 25-8, 25-10, 25-16.
