Southern Tier Sports ReportWAVERLY — Elmira and Corning took part in the Waverly Summer League playoffs on Wednesday night.
Elmira fell to Candor 46-37 in the quarterfinals and Corning was edged by Waverly 48-46.
Troy beat Wellsboro 53-38 and Towanda topped Athens 62-48.
In the semifinals Troy won 47-44 over Waverly and Candor topped Towanda 49-48 in overtime.
In the final Troy beat Candor 53-35.
