Southern Tier Sports ReportHORSEHEADS. — Mother Nature brought an early halt to the District 6 Minors all-star title game on Monday as the game was suspended in the top of the fourth.
After Horseheads scored five in the top of the third to go up 7-2, Corning scored six in the bottom of the third to go ahead 8-7.
The game was played in a steady rain, which caused the decision to stop the game due to an unplayable field in the top of the fourth.
The game will be completed at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Horseheads.
