11U LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL: HORSEHEADS USES 10-RUN INNING TO TOP CPPLL (24 PHOTOS) (2026-06-21)

HORSEHEADS — A 10-run fifth inning broke open a tie game as the Horseheads 11u Little League team topped Corning Painted Post 13-3.

Corning led 2-1 after one inning, but Horseheads got two in the third to go up 3-2. CPPLL got a run in the fourth to tie the game, before Horseheads won the game in the fifth. 

Bryan Benjamin had a double, a triple, an RBI and two runs scored and Gabe Osborne was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Issac Hill had two hits, with three runs scored and Thomas Pitts and Caine Zelko each had doubles. Fitts had two RBI and a run scored and Zelko had an RBI and a run scored.

Henry Perkins had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Mason Stansfield had a hit, two RBI and a run scored. Weston Hays had a hit and scored a run and Gabe Hill had an RBI. 

Zelko struck out six in three innings and Stansfield worked two innings of two-hit ball, allowing a run and striking out five. 

Noah Ibberson had two doubles, with an RBI and two runs scored for Corning and Josiah Blake and Cullen Bailey each had doubles. Aidan Constable scored a run in the game for CPPLL.

Constable struck out six in 3 2/3 innings and Bailey worked an inning, striking out three.
