10U LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL: CPPLL-NATIONAL RALLIES FOR WIN OVER HORSEHEADS (24 PHOTOS) (2026-06-17)

HORSEHEADS — The Corning Painted-Post 10u National team rallied for a 5-4 walk-off win over Horseheads on Wednesday night.

Horseheads used a three-run third inning to go up 4-1, but CPPLL rallied with four in the sixth to get the victory.

The winning run came as Grayson Putney hit a ground ball and reached on an error, scoring Tate Williams. 

CPPLL got hits from Colton Pfeiffer, with an RBI and a run scored, Williams, with an RBI and a run scored, Kamden Dillon, River Dunkleburger and Easton Grover, who scored a run.

Putney and Nolan Peterson also scored runs in the game and Ryan had an RBI. 

Peterson struck out six in three innings on the mound and Williams threw three innings of one-hit, shutout relief, striking out four. 

Griff Malnoske had a triple, with two RBI for Horseheads and Jaden Jansen had two hits, with a double, an RBI and a run scored.

Lucas Blauvelt had two hits and scored two runs and Patrick Karney and Derek Yaneach had hits. Noah Jackson scored a run and Jordan Kramer had an RBI.

Blauvelt went the distance on the mound, striking out eight.
